Itinerary
After an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Marrakech, drive towards the High Atlas Mountains to the village of Imlil (1,740 m), the starting point of the trek. Meet your mountain guide and mule team before beginning the ascent through scenic Berber villages such as Aroumd, enjoying views of terraced fields and walnut groves. Continue hiking along the Mizane Valley, passing the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch, a popular pilgrimage site. In the afternoon, arrive at the Toubkal Refuge (3,207 m), where you will enjoy dinner and overnight stay while preparing for the summit climb.
Wake up early for the summit attempt. Begin the challenging ascent under the stars, reaching the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m) around sunrise. From the top, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views across the Atlas Mountains and, on clear days, as far as the Sahara Desert. After taking photos and celebrating your achievement, descend back to the refuge for breakfast, then continue the descent to Imlil. In the afternoon, transfer back to Marrakech, arriving in the early evening.
