6-Day Toubkal Trekking with Lac Ifni

Departure from Marrakech to Imlil (1,740 m). Meet your guide and mule team, then begin trekking via Tizi Mzik Pass (2,489 m) with panoramic views of the Imlil Valley. Descend to the beautiful Tamsoult Valley, surrounded by waterfalls and high peaks. Dinner and overnight in a refuge or camp.

After breakfast, climb steadily to Tizi Aguelzim Pass (3,560 m), offering spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains. Descend to the Toubkal Refuge, where you will relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the upcoming summit.

Early morning ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal, reaching the peak around sunrise. Enjoy breathtaking views across the Atlas range before descending back to the refuge. Continue trekking down through the remote southern valleys to the village of Amsouzart, where you will spend the night in a guesthouse.

Today’s trek leads you to the spectacular Lac Ifni, the highest lake in the Atlas Mountains. Walk through peaceful valleys and dramatic landscapes before arriving at the lake, surrounded by rugged peaks. Afternoon free to relax and enjoy the scenery. Dinner and overnight near the lake (camp or refuge).

Climb from Lac Ifni to Tizi n’Ouanoums Pass, one of the most scenic mountain passes in the Atlas. Enjoy sweeping views before descending back toward the northern side of the mountains and returning to the Toubkal Refuge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, descend through the Mizane Valley, passing Sidi Chamharouch, a sacred pilgrimage site. Continue down to Imlil, then transfer back to Marrakech, arriving in the afternoon.
